City Council goes Live

Tomorrow night (Tuesday) the City Council will go live on the internet. The City of Yellowknife, with the help of the MediaMentor, will be trying a experimental webcast or live stream of a City Council Meeting. This will give those interested in the meetings and our city, who can’t make it to City Hall, a chance to participate in the community where ever they are.

To watch this trial run head over to the City’s Website where they have a page set up or watch and chat below. The meeting will begin at 7pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2010. You can also follow what is going on in the meeting by following the hashtag #YZFCC on twitter.
