The famous Bullocks Bistro appears to be getting an overhaul this week. One of the oldest structures in Yellowknife is getting a new roof. The building that was once the original Weaver and Devore store, now Bullocks Bistro, had half of its roof taken off this afternoon. It appears that the tar paper, that was used for the outer layer of the bistro is only being replaced at this time. Happening just in time for the beginning of the summer influx of tourists. It is uncertain as to what will be replacing the tar paper. More tar paper, shingles, tin maybe?
