It is without a doubt the dog days of winter. My favourite time. Despite it still being winter the days are longer and the energy is increasingly higher. SPRING IS COMING! Iโll live with the wet mucky roads just as long as the big, round, bright sun is shining down on me and vaporizing the snow.
In the winter where in Yellowknife would bond together at the events, the festival, in the pubs and ice castle to ensure that we all survive the winter. Yet when spring rolls around and we get out that little bit more, we run into those we havenโt seen all winter, or at least thatโs what it seem. The Royal Rave, Hockey Tournaments or just strolling along the Ice Road. Hello Yellowknife, it is nice to see you again.
