Well today Folk on the Rocks has given us a sneak peak as to who will be at the 31st Folk on the Rocks in July. There big name in the release is Mr. Fred Penner. I’m sure those of us who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s can recall Mr. Penner on the tube and in our ears.
Along with Fred Penner will be Luke Doucet & The White Falcon. Luke is Halifax-born, Winnipeg-raised troubadour. You can see more of Luke on his website http://www.lukedoucet.com/
Final thing coming from Folk on the Rocks is an all new way of announcing the 2011 line up called “Clue you in to our 2011 Lineup”. Starting March 28, Monday, they will post a image each week that provides a word puzzle we must figure out. Upon figuring it out, well learn who will be playing at Folk on the Rocks 2011, July 14 – 17.
