Have you visited a territorial park in the Northwest Territories yet?
There are many day-use areas, hiking trails and campgrounds through all of the NWT, all managed by NWT Parks, which is part of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment, a department of the Government of the Northwest Territories. Several of these parks are located within or just outside of Yellowknife.
Many of these parks are along the recreational highway, the Ingraham Trail.
As spring approaches for another season of camping, fishing, hiking and exploring, NWT Parks released its first commercial/online video showcasing all the wonderful things about their parks. It does certainly make you want to grab your hiking boots and head into the wilderness.
