That Time Yellowknifers Had a Bonfire for Spring

Every year along with the Long John Jamboree, Yellowknifers gather around a big wooden structure built by a group of residents and have a Burn on the Bay. The jamboree and the burn welcome spring to the north after a long winter.

This drone video shot by local company, Ariels North, shows the magnitude of the burn and the number of people and vehicles gathered around on a frozen Great Slave Lake.
