Jam Space YK is fun and informal look into the jam spaces and musicians of Yellowknife. The – current – web series is produced, shot and edited by Casey Koyczan, a musician and artists in his own right.
The goal of the series is to showcase the musical talent of Yellowknife in all the hidden away spaces they might play throughout the town.
S.I.W.S
The first episode features S.I.W.S, which is short for Sorry I Was Sh*tfaced, who are a punk/thrash/metal band that has the most southern jam space location in Yellowknife. You’ll have to watch the first episode to find out where that is. Warning: the language is probably NSFW.
