Human Hamper Chain to Sally Ann

Wednesday afternoon 200 some students from St Pat’s Highschool lined up from the back of the school down to Franklin Ave and right in the front door of the Salvation Army.

This is the second year the students have done this. This year was a bigger turn out than last, with over 200 students up from 150. They also were able to put together 80 hampers.

Since they are no longer delivering hampers to homes, the students wanted to do something that would be noticed. They have done just that. They’re chain has attracted the attention of many residents of Yellowknife, as well as the News organization around town.
