Water Main Break on School Draw

Late this morning many residents and businesses found themselves with no running water. Information was passed around that a water main had burst by either blasting or by back hoe at the end of School Draw Ave, where the new condos are being constructed.

The burst in the pipe caused a rather minor flood down hill along School Draw Ave. Only about 30 minutes later, the burst was isolated, rerouted and water services to the City’s downtown core were restored.

Thanks to a loyal reader, who was curious about the flood, he sent in these photos that indicate that water did indeed go rushing down School Draw.
