Over the Remembrance Day weekend Yellowknifers got a brief glimpse of perfect ice conditions. The ice that had formed on Yellowknife Bay and surrounding lakes was thick enough to walk on but also had very little snow on it yet. Many people grabbed their skates and glided across the lakes for some fun and enjoyment.
