A Walk in the Past

Take a stroll through Yellowknife’s oldest neighbourhood with a veteran interpreter.

There is gold under them there streets!  Some say it all began with gold, but the beginnings of the North came way before that.

Shed the present and take a walk through Yellowknife’s past, hear some of the stories, meet some of the characters, and taste some of the history.  This tour will end with a refreshing cup of tea and Rosie’s famous scones (a fancy version of the traditional bannock).
Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Location:  Pilots Monument Parking Lot
Seasons:  Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Fee: $95/per person
Please come dressed for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes, plus bring your own water bottle.  There will be stairs to climb to the top of Pilot’s Monument.
