An Evening with Mary Walsh

October 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MDT

Mary Walsh is an accomplished actor, comedian and social activist who has been making us all laugh for decades, most famously as the hilarious Marg Delahunty from the hit series This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Now, she’s added author to her list of credits with Crying for the Moon — her debut novel about a determined young woman coming of age in 1960s Newfoundland.

Born in St. John’s Newfoundland, Mary’s first job in show business was as a summer replacement radio announcer for CBC in the early 1970’s. That was just the beginning. Today the talented Mary Walsh can look back on her successful journey and career with pride. Winner of numerous Gemini Awards, Mary is also a member of the Order of Canada and a recipient of a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement. Don’t miss an evening of humorous reflections as this Canadian treasure takes centre stage.
