BHP Billiton wants you for their Music Album!

This one goes out to all the local musicians in Yellowknife and the NWT. EKATI Diamond Mine is looking for local talent to be apart of their staff Christmas gift CD for 2012.

Ten musicians or bands will be chosen to not only record but also to write an original song that will be included on the compilation album. Basically BHP Billiton is providing the resources for musicians of the north to come together and make one awesome, northern, homegrown album. ‘nough said!

The album will then be distributed at EKATI Diamond Mine for Christmas. Which means your song could be heard all over Canada.

If you think you have what it takes, and I know there is a lot of talented musicians out there, then you should submit your interest by June 29, 2012.

However there are some guidelines for the project. So to get those guidelines give Joanna Tiemessen a shout at jtiemessen@kellett.nt.ca or 1 (867) 669-9344.
