The last couple contests I have tried to run haven’t worked out very well so I thought I would try one that should be relatively simple to enter. There are 3 simple things you need to do to be eligible to win, other than being within Canada or the US.

Suggest to Friends by following the link under the profile picture on our Facebook Page.

If are already a fan or subscribed to notifications than you are already eligible, just make sure you do the other two. The contest runs from now until December 11, 2009. Please use a valid e-mail address as that is how the winner will be contacted.

Write about what?As the 2009 city election is right around the corner I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for people of Yellowknife to voice their concerns as well as ideas, reasoning, who they are voting for and why, etc. You can write about what you want the new council to focus on as well as what you think they need to improve. Write about what is important to you.
Deadline: The deadline to have entries submitted will be October 16th, 2009 at 12pm Mountain Time. All submitted entries will be published before October 19, 2009
Contest Draw & Prize: Shortly after the deadline I will gather all the names of the people who submitted entries and randomly draw a winner. Please make sure you use a valid e-mail account. The prize will be a Gift Certificate to a local business but has not been decided yet (will update when decided).
Make sure you spread the word around town so everyone has the opportunity to Be Heard
