Tumit: Akpik Theatre presents “Tumit”, a new northern one-act play written and performed by Reneltta Arluk under the direction of Kate Weiss. The play explores the importance of coming to terms with the past in order to open the door to the future. Set in an apartment, Sarah is preparing to move and as she packs memories are stirred that reach into her childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. She re-visits her greatest joys and faces her greatest pains. The past, the present and the future come together in this premiere event that reflects upon all of our journeys. Trail’s End actually has Biker Claus on Saturday, not Santa Claus. That’s way cooler.
