On Thursday, December 3, 2009 the City of Yellowknife will be lighting up the City. Starting at 4:45pm the Mayor along with City staff will be lighting up the Christmas Lights kicking off the Christmas Season.

At 5:00pm the lights will be turned of and a procession of more lights will make its way to the Legislate Assemble where the holidays festivities will continue.
Something else to watch for around town is the Lights Contest. For more information on anything, please contact the City at 920-5676.
