Hey Yellowknifers, I shot this video while going grocery store to grocery store. I was not comparing the prices, I was only collecting prices to give those people from the south who are thinking of moving up an idea as to our food prices. The post should be up with in a couple days.

Truthfully… I always tell newbies to the North to never look at the prices… just buy what you need… not what you want… otherwise the high prices become depressing… and hey… I lived in Arviat Nunavut for four years… and there I NEVER left the store without a single ordinary sized grocery bag costing around $100… so in comparison… Yk is cheap…

That is part of what I want to get across. The prices maybe a slight bit higher here, but in comparison to places further north we do alright.
